Hazard Identification
Hazard Identification is a foundational capability of an employee to work safely. Leaders must enable the employee to recognize hazards through technical training. They must also create an environment where the employee is motivated to accept personal responsibility to manage their own safety and report any situations or behaviors that could put people and equipment in danger. This combination of skill and will empowers the employee to take action required to maintain a safe workplace for themselves and their team.
