Alignment activities are straightforward:

  1. Agree on an operating philosophy that is focused on performance and supported by senior management.
  2. Identify and agree on desired Outputs (Key Performance Indicators, etc.)
  3. Determine specific and measurable Inputs required to achieve Outputs.
  4. Identify current barriers or capability gaps that prevent Inputs from happening.
  5. Develop Action Plans to overcome barriers and close gaps.
  6. Assign specific individuals for Action Plan execution and feedback.
  7. Develop communication plan to inform and enroll team.
