Critical Path Analysis (CPA)

All CPA workshops are customized to complement project-specific rig and supply chain capabilities. The team performs an in-depth review and analysis of task and resource scheduling during implementation of recent drilling and completion procedures. The lessons learned are captured and procedures are modified accordingly.

What You Will Learn

  • Use detailed operational plans from previous DWOPs and CWOPs to identify resource and scheduling issues.
  • Use rig and supply chain capabilities to modify resource allocations and make efficiency gains.
  • Optimize resource allocation and scheduling decision-making and communication processes.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Organizational and reporting structure of the team. Roles and responsibilities.
  • Balance People and Process to ensure all team members are motivated to contribute their best efforts toward performance improvement.

These workshops are an integral part of the Alignment Leadership Performance (A-L-P™) progression of team activities which are unique to PetrEX International. The goal of A-L-P™ is to achieve the highest level of team effectiveness by creating a performance improvement culture in the workplace. We believe that sustainable performance improvement is the result of committed leaders and a motivated workforce aligned to achieve agreed goals.

Who Should Attend

Participants comprise a multi-discipline leadership team including drilling and completion engineers, drilling supervisors and superintendents from the operator, drilling contractor personnel from rig manager to floorman, logistics support, and service company personnel focused on planning and implementation for this project in the field.

Instructors

Instructors are field-seasoned professionals with excellent communication skills who have worked in the oil industry as managers and team leaders.
